Being a stay at home mom has more and more perks every day. For instance, yesterday, while the kids were laying on the floor in the classroom, Robin used her creepiest voice to say this:
Joshuaaaaaaa, spiders are going to drink your blooooooood.

A mother can only dream.
We’re not just creepy, a few days ago we were learning about insects that drink blood (mosquitoes, fleas, ticks, bedbugs, etc).
Another benefit is fun and educational kid shows. We love a ton of them, but one of my favorites is Bubble Guppies.

They have an Asian-ish girl! How diverse of them!
Bubble Guppies is like an educational version of Laugh In. Music and silly jokes are just what it takes to trick kids in to learning stuff. And it’s catchy as shit:
The lunch jokes are silly and crack me up. Normally, I’m easily amused, but fuck that, it’s funny!
In other SAHMy news, I am making pillow cases for the “reading nest” in the classroom. I spent all day (after waking up at noon, wtf?) Sunday working on pillow cases.

All day = 3 pillows. Uhhh....

I made a pillow, too, so that counts for something, right?
So why did it take all day to make only three pillowcases? Because fuck you, that’s why. It was just one of those days. I have about five more to make. The kids are crazy about them, so it’s worth the headache.
Tomorrow is Wendy’s vet visit, so I’ll update more on her then. It’s been a crazy bunch of bullshit over here :[
